Call for scientific images and videos contributions for the Institut Pasteur
In line with the collections already carried out in recent years, the Image Department and CeRIS are launching a call for contributions in scientific images and videos produced in laboratories.
These visuals are particularly needed at this time to support several projects showcasing our work notably the future Institut Pasteur website, but also, more broadly, to fuel internal and external communication, print and digital materials, press relations, editorial projects, exhibitions, science outreach, fine art prints, and visual creations.
To illustrate the diversity of research conducted at the Institut Pasteur, the Image Department and CeRIS are calling for visuals regardless of the scale or subject of study: microbiology (viruses, bacteria, parasites, fungi), molecules, cells, tissues, insect vectors, or animals.
These visuals may originate from a wide range of approaches:
• Microscopy and experiments (in vivo, in vitro),
• Mathematical and in silico analyses (bioinformatics, computational, artificial intelligence),
• Field studies in public health, including within the Pasteur Network.
Submitted images must be free for use by the institute, while fully respecting associated copyright and moral rights. No dissemination will take place without your prior authorization.
This initiative relies on the online photo library (phototheque.pasteur.fr)), a true showcase of the research, history, and scientific and institutional life of the Institute.
The collection continues to grow, and a « Deposite » function allows you to easily transfer your files.
Whenever possible, please transmit files in the highest quality available to ensure they can be used for varied and demanding formats.
Your contribution is essential to help the science produced at the Institut Pasteur shine and to share its full impact.
