Blood drive on September 17
The French Blood Service (EFS) will be running a blood drive on Thursday September 17, 2026 from 12 noon to 4.30pm in the conference space (modules 1 and 2 under the canteen).
Just an hour of your time can save lives, as no other product can replace human blood.
Blood products have a limited shelf life – red blood cells last just 42 days. That is why it is important to keep collecting blood all year round, especially as any individual can give blood every eight weeks. Your help is crucial to provide vital assistance for patients by enabling surgical procedures, treatments for chronic diseases and cancer, and emergency care.
In practice:
Take the eligibilite test to check that there are no contraindications (these may include dental treatment, tattoos, travel and infections).
Name of the blood drive: Institut Pasteur

Thank you all for your generosity, and a special thank you to the 62 people who gave blood in June.
