Are you interested in microbiome research? Don’t miss the next ‘Feed Your Microbiome’ event – a chance to share knowledge, expertise and the latest scientific research on the microbiome in a relaxed setting!

Hosted by Richard Wheeler, researcher in the Biology and Genetics of Bacterial Cell Wall Unit, the event will take place on October 21, 2026 from 12 to 2pm in the Émile Duclaux lecture hall on “The Writing's on the Cell Wall: microbiome peptidoglycan signals from the gut to the brain” with Rochellys Diaz Heijtz, associate professor and group leader in the Department of Neuroscience at the Karolinska Institute (Sweden), and Axel Ranson, a PhD student in the Biology and Genetics of the Bacterial Cell Wall Unit at the Institut Pasteur. It will be followed by a pizza session to satisfy both your scientific curiosity and your gut microbiota..
